Welcome to the Droid Factory. We are fabricators of droids, spaceships and science fiction artifacts from a variety of movie and science fiction media. We are master modelers who enjoy building things related to classic and modern science fiction with an emphasis on... droids!. Whether it's a K2 security droid, a Sith Probe or B1 Battle Droid we can probably build it.

The emergence of 3D printing has created tremendous opportunities for the hobbyist, store owner or serious collector alike. Although the Droid Factory is fairly new, we have been designing and building studio scale models and Alien related sculpture for over thirty years. The Droid Factory provides us with a means of offering some of our project offerings to you, the general public. Our Star Wars droid collection is literally growing each week.

Feel free to browse our growing inventory of space junk, alien artifacts and of course, droids. If you see something that interests you, please do not hesitate to contact us.

On behalf of the Droid Factory team, we appreciate your interest in our product line and look forward to hearing from you in the near future. Afterall, we are dedicated to: Building Better Droids today for a Better Tomorrow.

Welcome to our Online Shopping web page! Before we begin, please bear in mind that we are a small, growing business in a niche market that represents lots of unique opportunities for interested droid owners, Star Wars and Mandolorian fans and science fiction affecionadoes to name but a few. If you don't see the item you are looking for, chances are that we can make it for you.

Please note that some of our projects are one-offs and may no longer be available. On the other hand, we have a growing line of droids from the Star Wars and Mandalorian franchises including Pit Droids, Sith Probes, Buzz Droids, Battle Droids, Smelter and Assassin Droids to name but a few. Our collection of Star Wars related droids feature full size, studio scale replicas that never fail to impress.

Remember, many of our products are not produced until we receive an order from the customer. In many cases this could mean a lead time of several days or even weeks while our droid engineers work feverishly to build your order. However, due to the tremendous demand for this product line, we seldom can keep an inventory of droids. In addition, some of our more advanced or animatronic projects may take weeks to complete so a modest amount of patience is often needed.

Each item that we produce is made to exacting specifications, crafted and assembled by hand. Considerable time and effort goes into printing, post print processing, assembly and weathering. As a result, the time it takes to complete a droid varies considerably and is determined by both size and complexity. Client requests for additional features or custom paint schemes for example can add to the overall time it takes to complete the droid. We do our best to give you as accurate an estimate of how long it takes to complete a given commission.

Please understand that supply chain delays, equipment issues or shop workload can influence the production timeline of your droid. We will often provide images of your droid as it is being created in order to keep you in the loop as your droid proceeds through the production process. Please email me for more information on the item you are interested in.

Payment Options: Purchases can be paid for via Paypal, Zelle, credit card, wire transfer or certified check. Please note that there is a modest fee that Paypal charges which on larger orders may be passed on to the customer.

Customers should also be aware that non refundable deposits are required to secure your order. Final payment is required prior to shipment and shipping/packing costs will vary based on final destination.

Shipping Policy: Please note that once your order leaves this shop, it is no longer our responsibility during shipment and delivery to your doorstep. Many of our orders are packed professionally but it is up to the customer to request insurance if so desired prior to finalizing the purchase. Some of the droids can be easily dismantled and packed prior to delivery while others may be more expensive due to their size and weight. Shipping rates will vary based on destination and market conditions etc.

While we do the best we can, shipping quotes generated from this website are not final and the Droid Factory reserves the right to adjust the final shipping costs in accordance with the actual cost at the time of shipping. This additional cost may be invoiced separately and must be paid before the order can be shipped. We have recently started using an online shipping service which offers shipping rates well below those of UPS, Fedex, DLH and USPS.

Insurance is required on all droid shipments. Once your droid leaves our shop, we are no longer responsible for its condition. Any damage claims must be made with the shipper.

Return Policy: Many of the products we offer are made to order whereby we generally do not offer a return policy. Please make sure that you have researched your selection carefully and feel free to email me with any questions prior to confirming your purchase.

Your satisfaction is important to us whereby we do offer replacement parts if a problem arises. We stand by our products and provide customer support and replacement parts when the need arises.
